NEW IDEAS FOR NIGERIAN WEDDING MENUS

Nigerian wedding menus always include Fried rice, Jollof rice, Moinmoin, Amala, and sometimes Pounded yam. I believe there is need to incorporate new menus that will be accepted by majority in the menu plans.

Here are some ideas not just for weddings but for any other occasion. Do include them in the recipes for your next event.

Ideas

1.   Boiled potato with Efo riro, chicken and salad

2.   Turmeric  noodles or fried noodles served with moinmoin , chicken and salad

3.   Moinmoin, salad, barbecued goat meat  and snail

4.   Boiled or roasted plantain, served with Efo riro, salad, goat meat

5.   Fried plantian, Moinmoin served with Efo riro, and assorted meat

6.   Chicken and chips (yam or potatoes) served with salad and Moinmoin

Other rice recipes

1.   Coconut rice or coconut fried rice

2.   Turmeric rice

3.   Pilaf rice

4.   Chinese fried rice

5.   Ofada fried rice

6.   White rice cooked with green peas served with fried stew etc.

You can serve your meat barbecued   e.g  suya, barbecued chicken etc with these dishes
